white + gold

Forget about beige - white and gold are the ultimate neutrals.  Create a simple and striking design with bright, white walls (the perfect blank canvas) and a few quality pieces in brass or gold.  Adding in pops of colour or rustic elements can also make a major impact with this luxurious combo. Anything goes.

Cannot Get Enough Of ::: The Shoot Factory

I can't for the life of me remember where I first discovered this site {most likely from one of my many usual blog stops} but since I found this website I have spent countless hours dreaming and drooling.  Shoot Factory is a heavenly location agency that rents out spaces of the most exquisite chateaus, castles, studios and venues from around the world.  All those gorgeous spreads in Vogue you see and beautiful cinematic scenes in film are locations that are found here.  Based in the UK, Shoot Factory provides creative spaces for artists to let their wildest ideas come to life ~ for still shoots, television & movies.  Enjoy and prepare to be drawn into a world of no return! ;)

xoxo love,
jolie

Embracing the Winter Wonderland

Spending evenings with great company and enjoying every opportunity to indulge in the glitz and glam of the season.  Silk ribbons and gold jewelery, royal velvet, soft cashmere and perfume.

And when the morning comes... staying in bed all afternoon soaking in the sunlight with mimosas and delicious pastries.

Dramatically Revealed ~ Ludwig Design

The work of Ludwig Design is masterful!  An interior stylist of sorts based out of France, Ludwig has his Master's Degree in Architectural Interior Design and an innate talent for creating sheer beauty!  He has artisans and specialists on his team bringing a taste of French decadence to homes around the world.  Like fashion, interior design really brings together art in its many forms (photography, painting, illustration) and it intrigues me that the idea of combining colours, textures and pattern draws out such powerful emotion.  It lures the senses and draws you in.  I'm sure you'll agree that these creations are truly captivating!

Ludwig's philosophy on design is to let the space itself guide you toward the inspiration rather than following specific "designer style."  He says, "The secret is always there.  One needs only to seek it out."

The enchanting concept of restoring old, well-lived-in homes that wear time on their walls must be incredibly rewarding.  "And on discovery, a property’s latent potential, its power to bewitch and enthrall, can be dramatically revealed for all to see.”

Beautiful Pink Boudoir

Mlle. Frou Frou is a lingerie store owner and blogger {Frou Frou Fashionista} who recently revamped her boudoir into the most luxurious, feminine room that would make any girl's heart flutter.
I love the silk tufted headboard and mirrored dresser. Even her little dog got a cozy pink bed! She used pieces that are meaningful to her to bring out the elegance. Antique or crystal perfume bottles always look gorgeous on display and the perfect added touch of a Tiffany's blue book to create some height.

I personally think Louboutin heels should be on display and so does Mlle. Frou Frou. She has them sitting on top of her book case like the art pieces they are.

Of course every girl needs a drawer for all their delicates. These fabulous bras are all from her lingerie store Faire Frou Frou. If you own a bra shop you're bound to have one of everything!

This sliver vase is stunning filled with fresh peonies {my favourite!} and the icing on the cake is that incredible Louis ghost armchair - yes please!
